My American Life-July

ooooooooooooops, it's the second month since i came here!!!

here is so~~~~~~~~~~~~hot!!! i cant even stand it anymore!!!

but like i said, at least i can go anywhere i want!!! it's much better than rainy days.

and it's not as humid as taipei so i love the weather in ruston.

but it's too inconvenient, if i dont have a car, especially almost my chinese friends had gone back

to taiwan, so............

i wanna buy a car...........

and studying is my whole life now, i've to take toefl and gmat later which to help me enter the grad. wooooooooo, it's so annoying, i have no freedom, leisure time except prepare these two bothering stuff.

but i think i am adjust to the local life, although ruston is totally different from taipei, i still feel so good; i have many friends who came from different countries, such as japan, saudi arabia, turkey, or kazakhstan. they r all good people, we can help with each other, that's great.

i hope i can pass tests as higher grades as possible.

gee...tomorrow is the final...time goes fast

i think i will stay up tonight. to prepare the test, i will wright the vocabulary, or grammer on the paper. it can help me remember these stuff more effecient, because i can not only remember by eyes but also practice by hand. in this way, i can cut off much time to repeat same part, and then prepare other subjects. besides, previewing and reviewing is the best way for tests, so that when teacher is teaching some part, i've already studied one time and i have strong memory. and so does reviewing. u would find that there are something wrongs or disadvantages u didnt figure tem out before teacher's teaching. mm....in my oppion, how long do u prepare it is not the point, the point is how effecient u do.

but i still hate the final..........

and sunny makes me feel so good that i have energy to do anything.

My Favorite Sport

he is Chien-Ming Wang #40(tiger wang), the ace of NYY!!!

my favorite sport is BASEBALL!!!!

i've played baseball for maybe 10 years, i love NYY especially him.

cuz he was the first pitcher of NYY that is a very~~~~~~~~~historic team in MLB.

i wanna be him........but i think it's impossible, LOL!!!!!

but that's ok, i would keep practicing

Why I Came to the US to Study English

when i was a teanager, i decided to study english in the US. cuz i love the country which has lots of resource so that i can get much more knowledge, and the US is the top dog of the world, so studying in this country is a good experience for me.

taiwanese like to come to the US to study english cuz american schools have a great number of valuable books which include many fields such as computer science, geography, physiology, or astronomy. in taiwan, students can't find such complete resource in libraries, so if students wanna study more professional or improve themsselves, studying in the industrial country is our best choise, especially the US. tah's the reason i came here to study.

also, we all know that the US is the boss of the world, and the government have the latest tech no matter medical, 3-D, even weapons. all of the most genius are in this country. for example, edsion, einstein, newton. they r all outstanding american scientists that people r familiar with. what a progressive country it is, i wanna close these predecessores more to absorb more atmosphere of knowledge. so study here is my first choise.

The Internet - a good or bad way to meet new friends

the computer science is progressing nowaday, and people can contact with thire friends coming from other countries easiely and chat with them anytime. for me, i think the internet is a good way to meet new friends, especially for some shy.

if u don't usually go out with some people instesd stay at home, maybe u can't make any friend........but not today. u can just go on a chatroom and "click", then there r lots of strangers in it. pick out someone u like and say "hello" to he/she, and then begin knowing each other. for example, at the first time, u can ask he/she where're they from, how old is he/she, or is he/she a amle/female. secondly, when u've known each othe, u can introduce yourself abt sports, movies, or music whatever u want.

in addition, if u can't type so fast, u can just set up a blog on the internet. for instance, Blogger.com is a good choise for every one. it's easy to control and manage especially for amateurs. the first u have to do is key in ur basic profile such as nickname, interests, something u love, or something u don't love. and if u want, u can upload ur pic abt ur life or ur school. so that strangers can know abt u faster and faster.

i always meet some new friends from facebook or chatroom, it's a good way to meet them if u wanna know some of them from different countries.

it 's a pretty hot day!!!!! it's almost 40 degree celsius in the afternoon, but i like summer more than winter, i think. although it's too hot to go out side, i'd love to go swimming and eat some ice cream while watching tv. what a beautiful life it is!!! when i jump into the cool water, i feel so relaxed ans i can soak in the swimmng pool for a whole day, if i want!!! when i finish exercising, the activity i wanna do most is lying in the couch and watching an interesting movie and eating an ice cream. gee!! i don't wanna do anything else except stay in the room with air-conditioning. winter is too cold to do anything except sleep................although i was born in winter, but i hate it and i hate wearing on a lot of t-shirts, sweaters, or coat. i can't even move anymore!!!
so i wannna say..........

my favorite food

my favorite food in taiwan is "Stincky Tofu" which is made of fermant tofu,
and then we fry it for few minutes, and then add some spicy sause and chinese
pickle vegetables on it, and DONE!!
although the name is sticky tofu, but actually, it is very delicious!! trust me

About my hometown

Taipei, Taiwan where besides China is my sweet hometown. It is only 104.9 sq mi, whereas it has lots of people(2,619,920 people). The weather is distinct wthin four seasons, it usually rains cats and dogs in summer, especially in the afternoon which is because the high temperature. On the other hand, we usually feel so cold when the winter comes, maybe 68°F, so that we would put on our feather coat to keep warm. If you want to visit Chinese culture buildings or artworks, I suppose you to go to The National Palace Museum which collect a great number of priceless treasures such as jade, some sculpture, and ancient script by great chineses. I think you would be satisfied with this trip. Or you want to go shopping, Taipei 101 is your best choise. There are many kind of stores whatever you like. For example, GUGGI, LV, TIFFANY, OR HERMES. However, if you don't like these, you can go to ohther stores until you are starving, and then you can have your lunch or dinner in the food scquare. In one word, it is a big mall where you won't want to leave.

School Life in ELS

My name is Eric, and I have been to Ruston for more than one month. Althhough there are few chinese here, but we are very united. We usually have dinner together and help with each other whan some of us have troubles. The teachers in ELS are very kind and patient, whatever in class or in our life. I think I will be pretty happy in the future.
